Welcome to Las Masholitas en Colorado!
Mashe Trujillo is a Mexican artist and painter. She started painting these mazahua dolls during Covid-19 pandemic, and they have been a success! Mashe works directly with mexican artisans from Amealco, Qro. Oaxaca and Chiapas to promote their handcrafts and Mexican culture.
The name Masholitas came from Mashe's art studio called "Mashol", so she named her first mazahua doll Masholita.
Since 2020 Mashe and the group of artisans have been creating and adapting Masholitas to all seasons, holidays and festivities, maintaining the traditional handmade process making every piece unique, and showing the world the simplicity and beauty of the Mexican culture in a rag doll.
Take a look at the ones we have in stock today, I'm sure you will find at least one you would like to bring home.
